We will tell you how you can use all of its positive qualities to your advantage: make your figure slimmer, your eyes brighter, and your mood wonderful.

When something causes such conflicting opinions (with sharp negativity being replaced by delight and admiration), it means that you need to find the golden mean. In order to understand for whom a coffee fasting day is ideal and for whom it is contraindicated, it is important to clearly understand the positive and negative aspects of the beverage.
Pros
If we disregard the emotions of its fans, it has plenty of positive qualities:
- It gives the body a powerful energy boost, increases physical and mental performance (this is because of caffeine).
- It lowers cholesterol, improves microcirculation, and strengthens the vascular wall (thanks to vitamins PP, P, and B3, which are formed during the roasting of the beans).
- It normalizes the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract (because of chlorogenic acid and tannins).
- Its antiseptic properties, which are important for preventing fermentation processes and improving the activity of normal intestinal microflora (because of essential oils).
- It improves mood (its unique taste and aroma can help relieve depression).
Cons
Its negative impact is primarily explained by caffeine. Moreover, the quantity is important here. If 1-2 cups usually do not have any consequences, then 6-7 immediately affect your health:
