We will tell you how to use all of its positive qualities for your own good: make your figure slimmer, your eyes brighter, and your mood more wonderful.

The truth about coffee

When something causes opposing opinions (sharp negativity is replaced by delight and admiration), it means that you need to find the golden mean. To understand who is right for a fasting day on coffee, and who is contraindicated, it is important to clearly understand the positive and negative sides of the drink.

Pros

If you put aside the fans’ emotions, there are still quite a few positive moments:

  1. It gives the body a powerful energy boost, increases physical and mental performance (caffeine is responsible for this).
  2. Lowers cholesterol concentration, improves microcirculation, strengthens the vascular wall (vitamins PP, P and B3, which are formed during roasting of the beans).
  3. Normalizes the work of the gastrointestinal tract (chlorogenic acid and tannins).
  4. Antiseptic action, which is important for preventing fermentation processes and improving the activity of normal intestinal microflora (essential oils).
  5. Improves mood (unique taste and aroma that can relieve depression).

Cons

The negative impact is primarily due to caffeine. Moreover, the amount is important here. If 1-2 cups usually do not have consequences, then 6-7 immediately affect health:

We choose a high-quality product. The main thing is the caffeine content. It is maximally preserved in sublimated. There is slightly less of it in the granulated. Some cheap brands (most of the powdered drinks) have only surrogate substitutes for taste and smell and are completely useless.

On coffee with chocolate

On coffee and kefir

The combination is less popular than with milk. But in terms of efficiency, it is more justified. After all, kefir additionally enhances the diuretic effect, normalizes digestion, and helps the microflora to grow. In addition, it is an excellent source of calcium and other microelements.

Menu: drinks can be drunk separately (kefir amount is 1 liter). There is also an original recipe for a cocktail: 1 teaspoon of ground beans and 1/2 spoonful of cocoa are added to a glass of kefir (250 ml). This is a protein shake option that is good for waking up in the morning.

On coffee and water
