Чего больше в кукурузе для похудения — вреда или пользы? Советы по применению

**Corn Fasting Days**

Corn fasting days can be held once a week or 1-2 times per month, depending on your health. On such days, it is allowed to eat only boiled or raw corn (up to 2.2 pounds [1 kg]). You can add skimmed milk or kefir to it. You can also drink water, unsweetened tea, or vegetable broth (optional). Corn fasting days are useful for weight loss and fight edema.

**Gentle Corn Diet**

This diet lasts 7-10 days. During this period, you are allowed to eat corn porridge (10-14 oz [300-400 g]), boiled or grilled chicken breast (10.5 oz [300 g]), and steamed fish (10.5 oz [300 g]). To satisfy your thirst, you can drink corn silk tea, green tea, or plain water.

**Strict Corn Diet**

It should be noted that this diet is stressful for the body and shouldn’t last more than 3 days. The diet involves eating raw corn for 3 days. You can eat up to 4.4 pounds (2 kg) of corn per day, but you absolutely cannot drink or consume any other liquids. This diet will allow you to lose 4.4-6.6 pounds (2-3 kg), but it should be used as a last resort.

**Recommendations**

To make your corn diet as useful as possible and minimize side effects, it is worth adhering to a few simple rules:

1. The corn should be fresh and high quality.
2. If you decide to eat raw corn, get rid of the kernels closest to the cob, as they may contain harmful substances and agricultural chemicals.
3. It is not recommended to combine corn with proteins, especially in the evening, as it slows down metabolism.
4. The corn diet is contraindicated for people with a gastrointestinal tract disorder.

If you are attentive to your body and take care of your digestive system, then you have all the chances to lose weight using this method.

The result will be more noticeable if you combine your diet with physical exercise and increase your daily activity.
