This liquid has found extensive use in the food industry. Housewives cannot do without it in the kitchen. Compared with its alcohol counterpart, it has a more pleasant taste and possesses a number of beneficial medicinal properties. However, few people know that apple cider vinegar can be used for weight loss, since it accelerates metabolic processes and has cleansing properties.
Mechanism of action
Apple cider vinegar is a concentrate of beneficial chemical compounds whose complex action provides it with such beneficial properties:
- vitamins: retinol (A), thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), pyridoxine (B6), ascorbic acid (C), tocopherol (E);
- trace elements: more than 15 types;
- organic acids: acetic, lactic, malic, oxalic, citric;
- pectin;
- enzymes.
Due to this chemical composition, in which organic acids play a leading role, apple cider vinegar is so effective in promoting rapid weight loss.
When used internally and externally, it:
- has a warming effect that accelerates metabolism;
- removes stagnant fluid, toxins, waste products, and other harmful substances from tissues;
- improves skin condition: the signs of cellulite and the “orange peel” effect become less noticeable;
- ensures proper blood circulation and lymph flow, due to which cells begin to receive more oxygen and nutrients;
- breaks down fat cells, which is why it is useful for losing weight in the abdomen and sides—the most problematic areas;
- corrects the figure, making it slimmer;
- has a positive effect on the functioning of the digestive tract (provided that there were no problems with the gastrointestinal tract initially).
All these beneficial properties clearly demonstrate why this essence should be used for weight loss and to combat cellulite. If you do everything correctly, the results will not be long in coming: within a month, you can not only say goodbye to the “orange peel,” but also to fat deposits in the waist (its volume is significantly reduced), and to 7–10 kg of weight.
Etymology. The organic acids contained in apple cider vinegar give it its characteristic taste. No wonder the word “vinegar” goes back to the ancient Greek concept “ὀξύς,” which means “sharp”
